Standard recall training was not built for this breed

Sighthounds are sight-driven hunters built for explosive speed. The moment prey drive activates, voice commands are ignored - not out of disobedience, but because of how these dogs are hardwired. Generic recall methods assume a food-motivated, handler-focused dog. Your sighthound is none of those things when something is moving.

Module 4

Conditioning the Collar Alert

Tone conditioning at home, short sessions, high success rate. The recall command is introduced only once the tone response is solid.

Module 5

Taking It to the Real World

Outdoor recall in controlled conditions, progressing through distraction levels to prey drive situations. Pavilion training, the red boost button, and how to reward a prey drive recall correctly.
