The sighthound guy is awesome!
The sight hound guy is a truly lovely, knowledgeable, kind person! After finding his page on Instagram, I binge-watched every video and after commenting on one with a question about what would be best for my on-lead reactive whippet, he answered thoroughly, sent me more information and offered a call to talk it through. Even when I said I couldn’t be a potential client as I live too far away, he didn’t mind spending 20 minutes with me talking through my issues. He really understands sighthounds and gave me loads of valuable tips which I have been putting into practice. I am trying to be calm and stop scanning for threats! It’s a work on progress but getting better! I wish I lived in London and my dog could join his pack!
Troublesome whippet with no recall.
In January I took charge or a 2 year old whippet cross. He is a lovely dog and I had managed to work out most of his issues. The only remaining issue was recall. So I still had to keep him on the lead most of the time. I was keen to use a recall collar but was also worried about the process. Frank went to stay with Don and the pack for 3 day. I was worried to leave him but Don sent multiple videos and updates daily. We then had a joint training session. I am now pleased to say that Frank is now off lead all the time the training Don provided and the collar give me the ability to call him back any time. I am really pleased and would highly recommend Don if you have a stubborn sight hound.

One thing I can say with complete certainty is that Don’s motivation for working with dogs truly comes from the heart.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the opportunity to work with him in person because I live in another country, but that was not a problem for him at all. He immediately offered guidance and practical exercises remotely. You will not get generic advice from Don. His approach is absolutely individual. He will invest his time and knowledge to fully understand your specific situation and what is really going on with your dog. Don shares his knowledge very generously, and it is clearly rooted in real hands-on experience, not just something learned from a textbook. He brings things back to the natural foundations and the true essence of the relationship between a dog and a human — mutual respect and trust. And when training is built on that foundation, the results are real, stable, and sustainable in the long run. I recommend Don with complete confidence.
Excellent service from Don
We had a wonderful experience with K9 Exclusive Walks. Don is highly professional, personable, an expert with sighthounds and provided truly excellent care (and advice!) for our greyhound. We also really appreciated his flexibility and going out of his way to accommodate us at short notice and make our dog comfortable, Stitch really benefitted from being part of the pack and Don’s expertise, even just over a few days. It was a genuine pleasure dealing with Don and we couldn’t recommend K9 any more highly!
Knowledge is key to a better bond 🐕

Can´t recommend enough
Don has done an amazing job with my partner´s lurcher. Clive´s high prey drive meant we were worried about letting him off-lead in London in case he caught a scent and vanished. From the first meeting Clive transformed before our eyes into a different dog; obedient, eager to please, and focused on who is walking him. Each time Clive stays with Don he improves a little more, and always comes back happily exhausted. Don is not only a highly skilled canine trainer, he provides an extremely high level of care, with highly nutritious food, weigh-ins and shampoos, and is a font of useful advice. Somehow Don also finds time to send us artfully edited videos of the wonderful walks Clive has with the pack. Lucky dogs – thanks Don!

Fantastic dog boarder and trainer
Arlo has never been the most confident dog and became very nervous after the fireworks this year. We were worried about him but Don kindly boarded Arlo for three weeks while we were on holiday. As a result Arlo has come home far more confident and in great shape. All the video updates reassured us that Arlo was in good hands and having a good time. I highly recommend Don. He is fantastic.
Amazing experience & incredible behaviour transformation
Everything about working with Don has been top-class. And most importantly the way that he looks after the dogs is so valuable for their development. Our Saluki x Greyhound is a different dog after just 2 days with Don and the pack of dogs boarding there.

Excellent trainer
Don is so kind and has given me some amazing training tips and advice for my newly adopted rescue dog. He even did a little health check on her , although she only just got a health check from the vet, don told me more than they did! I often see don in parks and all the dogs he trains are so impressively obedient, hence why I got in contact with Don. he really knows what he’s doing with the dogs. You can tell Don is so professional in what he does and I really would recommend anyone to use Don’s services . Steph

Our doberman had such a brilliant time staying with him while we were away. He sent us regular video updates which was very reassuring and lovely to see her having so much fun. He is fantastic with dogs, both a leader of the pack but also very gentle and kind. The progress he made with our dog was so impressive. I cannot recommend him enough.
Highly Fulfilled Dog!
We entrust our dog, Tuna, completely to Don as we know it is not just about mindless play as Don instills structure and discipline in everything he does with his pack. Tuna comes back highly fulfilled and well behaved everytime. Don sends us photos and videos throughout the day to keep us updated on what our dog is doing, eating etc. When Tuna boards with Don, she is being fed very high quality food and there are even weigh-in sessions throughout her boarding period! Tuna stayed with Don and his pack for 3 weeks and returned with excellent recall and good manners! Thank you Don!
Life changing decision for me and my dog!!
I came across Don, the Sighthound Guy, on Instagram and reached out with a few questions — he was incredibly helpful and generous with his time from the start. I then booked him to look after my greyhound, Bart, while I was away. We did a meet and greet with his pack beforehand, and Bart settled in straight away. Over the past week, Bart has been living with Don and his dogs, learning recall — and it’s genuinely been life-changing. I can now walk him safely off lead on Wimbledon Common, confident he’ll come back to me and that he’s safe around other dogs too. I couldn’t recommend Don more highly.
Ambers Total Recall
Don had our whippet Amber today. She hasn’t been off lead in a park before as previous trainers, in boarding kennels and out have taught sit and stay, settle and other things but given up on recall due to high prey drive and disinterest from Amber. In one session with Don she is running around playing but coming back on every call. Unbelievable. Amazing videos of progress through the day. She has been a good distance off and just come straight back. Amber has been a bit nervous especially around men but took straight to Don with his calm clear authoritative voice and kind manner. A real return on investment for us and a total joy to see her enjoying whippet play. Highly recommended.
For a sighthound in London, there is no better trainer or boarding offer..
From the moment we met Don, his passion for sighthounds was unmistakable. From the moment we met Don, his passion for sighthounds was unmistakable. It was clear he not only knew the breed inside out, but genuinely cared for every animal in his care. Pablo stayed with Don for three days to work on recall, and the difference in his behaviour when he came home was remarkable. Don took the time to not only train Pablo, but to teach us how to handle him properly so the progress would stick. Throughout the stay, Don sent us wonderful videos of the pack out on walks, all running, playing, and clearly having a brilliant time. Pablo loved it so much he protested when it was time to leave, which says it all really. If you have a sighthound in London and you’re looking for a trainer or boarding, Don is quite simply the best. We couldn’t recommend him more highly.
The best sighthound trainer!
We took our four year old Bedlington Whippet to Don for training as her recall has always been patchy and she’s had to be on a lead for most of her life. We wanted to get to a point where she could be trusted off lead even with squirrels and other animals to chase. We met Don and his dogs in the park and he recommended we send her to stay with them for the night. For the whole time she was with him, we received updates on how training was going and videos of the dogs all playing together which was really nice to see. Since collecting her a week ago, we have found her to be a different dog. Her recall is so much better to the point that she can be off lead when we go for walks. She is able to play with other dogs and explore without us having to worry that she’ll get into trouble chasing foxes or squirrels. It is truly amazing that Don was able to do this – we have been to other trainers who were all lovely, but Don’s teaching with his pack has really helped with our sighthound. I would recommend him to anyone with a sighthound who needs some support with training. This has made our lives and our dog’s life so much better.
Brilliant investment
If it were possible to give Don 10/5 stars, we would do it, no question! K9exw was recommended to us by another sighthound owner on Hampstead Heath. Our dog Rumi is a saluki puppy and though she was great at home, in the park her recall and leash manners were practically non-existent. We contacted Don, and immediately he knew exactly how to address our concerns. From training advice and corrections, to suggestions for leads and other accessories, he gave sage advice. After only 2 (two!) day sessions with K9exw, we noticed Rumi’s leash manners were vastly improved, and her recall gets better and better each outing. Walking her is much more of an enjoyable experience for US both, and we could not have done it alone. Don’s expertise with sighthouds is second only to his professionalism, kindness, and charisma. It can be nerve wracking trying to find dog-training/daycare/boarding centre for your furry family members, but with K9exw that is never an issue. We are kept in the loop daily with videos, photos, and messages of Rumi having the time of her life, and making strides in her obedience training. She has so much fun, she comes back home ready for a snooze! We truly could not recommend Don and K9exw enough.
Worth the investment!
I sent my dog to stay with Don because she has a very high prey drive and has a few ingrained bad habits that I have never quite managed to fix. I heard about Don and his ability to train sighthounds to perfect recall and decided to send my dog there for 5 days. Well! I am happy to say it went brilliantly. Don is a very invested trainer who gives masses of time and attention to whichever dog he is working with. He is 100% focussed on making dogs feel secure and comfortable in his amazing ‘dog pad’ annexe, complete with an enormous dog flap that allows the dogs to come and go as they please to and from the excellent, large and exciting (for a dog) garden, which is ultra secure. I didn’t need to worry about any of the things that I normally worry about when my dog goes to stay somewhere — like will she behave/can they handle her/can she escape (cos she would if she could!)/is she relaxed and settled/is she being well cared for?? — not only because Don clearly ‘got’ sighthounds and their foibles but because Don updated me with loads of photos and footage, so I felt like I was with her the whole time. Even sent me 6-minute long videos of her eating supper! Don explains what he’s doing and why he’s doing it every step of the way, and it was clear that he had an excellent understanding of dog behaviour. He realises that what dogs need above all is routine, an authoritative leader, a chance to form a bond with that leader, security, comfort and rewards. He ticks all these boxes and my dog seemed happy and well adjusted in his care. Even better, she came back an improved dog with super fast recall. Don’s services are second to none, and whilst he is not cheap, I felt that his fee was absolutely worth every penny.
Don is THE DOGFATHER 🐕👑
Don is truly The Dogfather. He is absolutely amazing with my Italian Greyhound, Nelli, who is a strong-willed, stubborn little character. Nelli stayed with Don for 2 weeks whilst I went for a holiday and it’s safe to say that she had the best time – to the extent that coming back to me was not what she was hoping for 🤣 Don is amazing with Nelli, and all the hounds that he walks, sits, and boards. All of his walks include training, but also tons of fun and exploring! He also provides me with lots of support and advice when I’m a little stumped – the level of care and concern he has for the hounds he looks after/has walked is incredible. A truly truly sincere and lovely person, dog walker/sitter/boarder. I am so thankful that I have met him and Nelli feels the exact same way! Thank you so much Don 💕
Don is a sighthound whisperer
Don is a sighthound whisperer! We’ve been so so impressed by his training for our lurcher, Reggie! Over the course of 5 days and 4 nights, we’ve already seen an incredible improvement. We got recommended to contact Don through a fellow lurcher owner we met in Highgate Woods. We are forever indebted to the training Don has provided to Reggie AND will continue to provide for him. 10/10 would recommend all sighthound owners to Don :) Thank you so much!
Best decision we made!!!
We left our beloved ex- racer Greyhound for the first time with Don. We were instantly reassured that we had made the right decision after our first meet up with Don @K9 Exclusive Walks Ltd. Our dog was relaxed and comfortable at Don’s home, we had regular updates and are beyond thrilled to see our beautiful dog enjoying the company of other dogs and learning some much needed training. We have already booked in our next dog’s next stay!
Super helpful & friendly
Super helpful, knowledgeable & friendly. I got in contact with Don this afternoon about some recall for my sighthound. He got back to me straight away and got on a call with me offering up really insightful advice and training tips. He is very polite and so willing to help, could tell straight away how passionate he is about helping people and dogs. Highly recommend!
I can’t recommend Don enough
I can’t recommend Don enough. He has transformed the behaviour of my 18 month old lurcher. No longer do I have anxiety about his recall/behaviour when out with him. I actually enjoy taking him out now! For training, boarding, anything dog related, I wouldn’t go to anyone else.
Amazing training, daycare and overnight stays!
Amazing training, daycare and overnight stays recommended by our whippet owner friends, our teenage puppy Pickle has really improved his recall with Don’s training. We’ve learnt lots of new techniques through Don’s videos to continue the training at home too. We’ll keep booking Don for regular overnight stays as Pickle absolutely loves them and they give us time to enjoy weekend activities that are hard to do with a dog! Thanks, Sam and Hollie

So glad we sent our Greyhound, Echo to Don. He’s such a kind a reassuring and understanding presence for the dogs, but also for us and our myriad of booking mistakes! Echo loved staying for 5 days with Don and being off the lead with the pack. Updates were amazing and communication was brilliant. Echo will be going back to Don and loved every second there. Highly recommended.
Don looked after Frida so well
Don looked after Frida so well! She spent the day and night with Don and ‘the pack’ and from the excellent video updates it looked like she had a wonderful time. Don’s training with her has made a great difference in a very short time, Frida seems much more tuned in to us on her walks. Thanks Don!
Great dog sitter and trainer
We have met Don a couple of times for training and our dog has stayed over at his house for several nights. We completely trust Don with our dog and he has helped significantly improve some behavioural issues. He has increased our confidence as first time dog owners and look forward to the next opportunity that we have to use his services.

Disco the Whippet loved her overnight stay with Don and his pack. She had a fun and activity packed stay. She even went swimming for the first time. Don is extremely knowledgeable and professional. Would highly recommend for overly worried sighthound parents!!
Our two greyhounds stayed with Don for just over a week so we could take our first holiday in years. We have really struggled to find a boarder that can accommodate both our greyhounds, both have different needs but Don put us at ease from the very first meeting. We received so many updates, pictures and videos that we felt perfectly at peace, knowing that they were having a fabulous time! Don even managed to get Pearl trained to be off lead, something we never thought possible and are looking forward to putting this new training to use back home!
The Best!
Don has been brilliant with our Lurcher Bobby. His confidence around sighthounds is second to none and we have no problem in trusting Don and his ability to care for Bobby… and keep Bobby on his ‘paws’ training wise! Bobby comes home exhausted and happy after a day with Don – he will always be returned clean, well socialised and walked! Thank you Don! We are so pleased we found you!

Don has been exceptional at training our saluki boy, iloh. We originally attended a generic puppy class but it soon came apparent to us, iloh needed someone with specialist breed experience! By luck I came across don through a Google search, and it was a blessing to find K9exw. Sighthounds are in a League of their own when it comes to stubborness and need specialist training for recall, every time spent with Don we see more and more improvement with Ilohs recall! The daily updates are a visual masterpiece and getting to see Iloh run with the pack is truly beautiful. There’s no one else I would trust to let my boy off lead then with the K9exw! Highly recommend and look forward to keep sending iloh to run with the pack

Don is wonderful!
I was very apprehensive (to the point of losing sleep) about leaving my sweet greyhound Teddy with Don (despite him coming highly recommended) over two days/one night… But Don is the most wonderful, genuine, kind sighthound lover who goes over and above with the dogs in his care and all that worrying was for nothing! I received frequent, reassuring text, video and photo updates and could see my Ted was having an absolute blast while being safely looked after. He was returned to me tired, happy and very sweet smelling! Thank you so much Don, Teddy really did have a five star experience with you!

Obi is a gentle sensitive soul and there are only a very few humans that I would hand him over to knowing he is getting the best care. Not only does Don create a warm loving environment for his dogs he spends the time to train them as well. It was lovely to see Obi’s confidence grow with Don and his lovely dogs. Thank you Don.

Totally trustworthy, so glad I found this guy
When we decided to take a foreign holiday this year, I was seriously stressed about leaving my dog in the care of someone else. Kipper is a large, reactive lurcher and frankly none of the people I saw on sites like Rover.com looked like they could handle him. I contacted Don because of his sighthound expertise, and am so glad I did. Not only did Kipper forge an immediate bond with Don, but his two canine companions as well. The holiday itself was a dream for Kipper. Throughout the ten days, I received frequent updates that offered me a glimpse into his joyful escapades. Don took the pack to a variety of locations, allowing them to roam and stretch their legs. It was evident that Kipper was thoroughly stimulated and happy (to the point where I found myself feeling slightly guilty about ending his adventure!) Don’s home setup was also ideal. Kipper had the luxury of freely transitioning between a spacious garden and a cosy indoor space, complete with his own comfortable bed – a haven to rest after a day of spirited play. Kipper came back a much more tranquil dog, and I credit that to Don’s approach; a blend of gentleness and authority that distinguishes him as a true dog whisperer. Even though Don is a long drive away for us – an hour and a half across busy London – I will choose him again in a heartbeat. Because ultimately he’s somebody I can trust.
Priceless peace of mind
That’s exactly what Don gave us when he cared for our rescue greyhound over 3 days last weekend and welcomed her to his pack of happy hounds. The multiple photos and videos he sent us were proof of his kind understanding of our dog’s needs and personality as well as his patient professional approach to off-lead training. We are incredibly grateful to have met Don and can’t recommend him highly enough for Sighthound care and advice.

Absolutely over the moon to find Don. My dog bruno absolutely loves spending the day with Don and his pack. Bruno has already started to show signs that the training is working. Don sends regular updates which include some fantastic photos. Bruno will definitely be back!

I feel so incredibly lucky that we found Don and his dogs. I now use K9 Exclusive Walks for my rescue Saluki named Albert. Albert is SO happy. Don is incredible with the dogs. He takes them to gorgeous spots where they can play to their hearts content and just takes such wonderful care of them. The training is super helpful both for Albert and for me. I couldn’t be happier with our experience.

Skilful, caring and dedicated.
We have found out about Don via recommendation from one of his clients we met on the walk and we are so grateful they have shared his details with us! Since then we have left our three year old whippet with him for daycare and boarding. Fantastic experience, Don’s level of skill, knowledge and care is unsurpassed. We were updated regularly with videos and wonderful photos and we could see our boy had so much fun and was well taken care of.This made our holiday so much more relaxing. My kids made me promise we will always and only leave Juniper with Don as they really love how he was so well cared for! I wholeheartedly agree and have complete confidence leaving my furry child in Don’s care. Highly recommend him.
We left our 2 year old whippet Ziggy…
We left our 2 year old whippet Ziggy with Don for 3 weeks whilst we travelled and had a very positive experience. We received frequent updates on Ziggy’s well-being and at the same time Ziggy was trained daily. A healthy diet was provided and he returned fitter and with a much better recall! We felt assured and confident of Ziggy’s care and wellbeing whilst he was with Don. We will use him in the future and really recommend!
Zafir the Saluki
Zafir our Saluki (a breed at the stubborn end of the sighthound spectrum) only after a few days with Don, showed a marked improvement in his recall, so much so that I now let him off leash in areas that I wouldn’t have before and the sit command from a distance was a revelation. Will definitely be a regular thing as Zafir also has a lot of fun in the company of the other sighthounds

Our Luna loves her weekly trips with Don and his pack and comes home absolutely nackered. All dat long Don sends us pics and videos, which really pits your mind at ease if you’re a bit paranoid like me about your fur baby.
Beau our whippet loves Don!
Beau our whippet loves Don! He gets super excited to see him, has a fab time at day care and comes home well exercised and with some new tricks (i.e. good behaviours!). Beau was re-homed with us and had little walking and socialisation skills. We were struggling with lead walking and some simple tips from Don sorted this out. Don’s responsive, timely and keeps you posted in the day with videos. He’s caring too and flags any concerns.

Don is a fantastic trainer
Don is a fantastic trainer. He was recommended to me by another sighthound owner. He is working with my dog especially on recall. My dog is coming on leaps and bounds and I am also becoming more confident with my dog. Highly recommend him and training is on going and also for holiday cover. He emails regular video updates during the course of the day and how to training methods for me to continue with for my solo walks.

We left our greyhound/saluki cross with don for 10 days when our previous holiday boarding plan fell through. We were so impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to use Don again and recommend him. His video updates were brilliant and really reassuring, Zac got loads of walks in lovely areas and loved running around with other sighthounds. Don clearly went the extra mile with training (demonstrably improved recall and waiting!) and understands and enjoys working with sighthounds. We were so pleased we came across Don – thank you for taking such good care of Zac!

Don: excellent person+great with dogs. Really helped our lovely (but manic!) year-old Saluki/Greyhound Lurcher learn how to respond better to commands (without losing his joyful playful energy). Highly recommended dog-walker & trainer (plus overnight dog care with his little “pack” of two or more lovely hounds).
My saluki loves the experience
My 11 months old saluki has separation anxiety and although he loves spending time with dogs, I was still concerned he wouldn’t take it well. He is constantly engaged and stimulated and I can see from the photos and videos sent throughout the day he is really enjoying the experience. I appreciate that Don listens carefully and takes the time to understand each dog. He also brings dogs to beautiful fields and mine I’m sure thinks it is a treat. Highly recommend.

For the most thorough sighthound care possible, Don is your man. Our dog was trained perfectly and exercised thoroughly each and every day. A constant stream of videos left us assured and our dog came back 100% happy and obedient ..
Two year old boisterous Doberman – boarded and Trained
Don is one of the best trainers I have seen/experienced and we have been through a few. We had a last minute hicup with our weekend plans and needed to urgently board our unneutered 2 year old Doberman. Once having our meet and greet with Don, he was happy to board our doberman for 3 days. We were honest about our dogs training problems i.e. pulling on the lead. Within 3 days with Don, our dog returned extremely well behaved and his heel is better than ever. I cannot wait to send him back, the improvement makes an immense difference to our day to day lives. Don would send us daily updates being; videos and pictures from their training sessions together. Don clearly has a real love for dogs and is able to understand what, we, as humans do wrong and provided us with advice. Don provides all dogs with a rolls royce service. He is spoken highly of, by a number of dog walkers and owners around the local area. This shows his passion and love for our four legged friends. Don is always willing to go over and above, we cannot thank him enough. We would definitley recommend him to everyone and anyone.

Don looked after our 1 year old male unneutered Doberman which most boarders would have been apprehensive of or not willing to accommodate but after meeting him he stayed over for 3 nights and had a great time with Don. He took him for long walks everyday and gave him a good wash before bringing him back to us. He sent a lot of photos when we were away and our boy looked like he had a great time and was well taken care of. Highly recommend 👌

Our two dogs spent the most fantastic 10 days with Don. We received endless lovely videos of them out and about, eating, getting groomed and sleeping. They were walked in beautiful woodlands and open spaces, always happy and relaxed with Don’s own dogs. Don had total control over the dogs but was so loving and kind towards them at the same time. We will be back!!!!!!!!
